[ Salem is also the name I originally wanted to name Midnight
but was forbidden to as a child, so I went with Midnight instead ]

Salem's story is slightly different than Midnight's story and he did not  originate from the same country nor location. 
They are connected to the same characters though just as AU versions (Cinnas vs Humanoid Originals)
