Talulla's social fear is deep rooted in the terror his birth village found him. Fae knows that he isn't quite normal, and it tends to scare others who have never seen something like him before. Dendarrune was gentle though, spinning the old tale of Llykan and Chamdrrin like silk. There was something beautiful in the new and unusual, something that leads to joy and discovery instead of fear and terror. This whole conversation is deeply meaningful for Talulla... Maybe there is something beautiful about being different.
